Welcome to the family, Hugh. Australian actor Hugh Jackman has received the record for the longest career as a live action Marvel superhero with his character Wolverine. He shares this record with fellow X-men star Sir Patrick Stewart (UK); both have had careers spanning 16 years 228 days. However, record-breaking was on Hugh’s mind long before he set his sights on Hollywood. He and his brother always wanted to end up in the book one day, and attempted records from most coins snatched off the elbow to longest marathon playing badminton. However, it seems he was meant to achieve record-breaking a little later in life! Hugh’s certificate was awarded to him by Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief of Guinness World Records, on @thismorning. “It was an honour to be able to finally hand over a certificate to Hugh and welcome him personally into the Guinness World Records family.” Click the link in our bio to read the full story. ______________________________________________________ #marvel #xmen #wolverine #hughjackman #guinnessworldrecords #officiallyamazing
